The phrase “raging bull” is commonly used not only for an enraged bull that’s about to charge, but also as a nickname for people and things with that kind of fury and ferocity. And if something is particularly forceful, it’s also raging, like how the Bushrod Bulls players are playing this season.
Their ferocity and forceful plays is no longer a fluke as many thought at the beginning of the season when they defeated Mighty Barrolle. The latter who they swept this season.
It was the turn of the NPA Pythons who many thought would be a different script but lo and behold, the same, they got swept. But the manner in which it was done; we at Liberia Basketball Network have the Bulls highly favorite for the championship.
Although having a small margin led by the halve, NPA Pythons could only manage 2PTS in the third quarter and 9PTS in the final quarter.
The Bulls this time was led by Carlos Marshall who scored 20 PTS along with eight rebounds out of which three were on his opponents glass. That was the storyline for the night. The Bulls crashed the boards of the NPA Pythons scoring successive points out of second chances.
John Williams Jr and Sam Paye were the only two Pythons players with double figures, scoring 13 and 12 points respectively.
With the loss, NPA is now 0-2 and looking at elimination come Tuesday if they fail to defeat another side who has discovered their form, Invincible Eleven.
