T.S. Warriors are rolling to the phase two of the LBA Division II league season in style. The ‘Thunder and Storm Boys’ are on a five games winning streak and are currently 8-1, their only loss coming by way of the Visioneers.

In order to conclude the phase one for DII, they had three games pending and won two back to back.
On Saturday, Barnesville Dragons was defeated by them in a classical match, 69-76. Simeon Kennedy, MVP contender for this season in D2 had 18PTS along with Darius Kpeto who had the same score line. It was a blow for the team when Jonathan Washington went for a reverse layup after euro-stepping by his defender. He was pushed from the back and landed on his knee. Jonathan was helped out off the floor and would not return.
On Sunday, T.S. Warriors without Jonathan, who is averaging 6.8PTS this season went up against title favorite, Bushrod Ballers. They made easy work of their opponent causing doubt if they really are title contenders.
Simeon Kennedy once again led his team with 19PTS, 3AST. Darius Kpeto had a double double with 15PTS, 10REB.
Amos Kanneh of Bushrod Ballers had a monster game of 14PTS, 18REB in their loss. He currently is averaging 13.9REB per game and on his way to perhaps winning the best rebounder award.
T.S. Warriors next match is against the ELWA Spartans. This should be a no brainer for them.
