The 5’8″ guard plays larger then his size. He plays with his heart and he plays smart. GFour as he is commonly called doesn’t disappoint. On any given game he will have fans in his corner. Even that of his opponents.

For his size, Gonleseh Gaikolo scores over 90% of his points from in the paint. His continuous drive to the bucket is a nightmare for his opponents. The guard only needs to see a small opening to either jump step in between or euro-step his way to the bucket.

On this day, GFour and his cavalry started on a flat note. They were so flat, they didn’t realized what hit them.

“We found ourselves down quickly and I knew I had to carry my team,” said Gonleseh Gaikolo.

Royal Legends started red hot. They quickly jumped to a 20-0 run in the first quarter.

Georgia Warriors was finding it difficult picking their shots. It was as though every strategy was not working.

One could see the frustration settling in as the crowd in attendance also hailed Royal Legends basket after basket.

Finally GFour had them on the score board after going by two defenders and winding the ball which hit the backboard before going in.

Royal Legends close the quarter 21-4.

In the second quarter, Gonleseh Gaikolo and his team began to pick-up the pieces. They took the second quarter on their way to their greatest comeback win in recent times.

It was the cold shooting of Royal Legends that cause them their waterloo. They were colder then a cold turkey in the third!

“I have been working on my shots, especially free throws,” Gonleseh Gaikolo told Liberiabasketball.net

That work is paying off. Although he shot 31% from the field, he was eight of twelve from charity land.

This victory is a moral booster for the Warriors. It also solidify our assumptions that there is no clear favorite in winning the D2. That division is like biscuit, it can break anywhere.

Georgia Warriors next opponent is Barnesville Dragons who over the weekend give Bushrod Ballers their first lost in all competitions this season.
