Patrick Monxhwedey of the National Port Authority team, Pythons, suffered an injury during his team practice. The small forward is listed as day to day.
NPA Pythons take on the Monrovia Pistons tomorrow at the SKD Gym in Paynesville at 4:00PM.
Patrick Monxhwedey when contacted was in a depress mo0d as he had just broken among the starters in the last game in which he played facilitator role.
“I really wish to be with my teammates on the floor tomorrow but upon observation from my team medical personel I am ruled out,” Patrick told LBN.
“As a competitor, I will give my leg a try at shoot-around and if I feel good I will suit up. If not I will be on the bench rendering any help or assistance needed for the W,” he concluded.
Jerry Willie who is also on injury watch continues to to do solo workout. He is expected in the coming weeks to begin light one on one drills. His time frame for return is not yet set as the medical staff of Pythons are yet to give full contact clearance.
Jerry Willie sustained a knee contusion in their first phase match against LPRC Oilers.
Wishing you a speedy recovery Blacc Pat and Jerry Willie
