Joel Martor and his NPA Pythons seems set for the cracker against defending champions Mighty Barrolle.
Joel was man-of-the-match last night against Monrovia Pistons. He had a stat line of 28pts, 6asts while shooting 75% and 40% from two points and three points respectively.
Joel had help from teammates Sam Paye (16pts, 7rbds) and John Williams (16pts).
Alhassan Keita and Juweh Wojolo both had 11 and 17 points for their side Monrovia Pistons.
The victory is like prepping for the main encounter against the ‘Rollers’ this Sunday.
“We are preparing hard for this encounter,” Joel muttered when asked about his side chances against the champ.
“We know they will come as a physical side, and we too have been putting in extra work to match them as well”
Pythons will have a lot of work to put in check the Nigerian duo Celestine Nwafor and Anec Ejeh of the Barrolle front court. On the back court, Barrolle also have Brian Nyangbe and Julius Kpakolo. Both currently average 10.3 and 11.8 points respectively.
