Marshall Brothers are currently on a lane of their own. No one seems to be driving along with them!!!
After one of the most dominant win by a team involving two brothers, no doubt about their motives.
There use to be a Bing Brothers, then some other brothers, but this is the Marshalls era!
Marshalls Brothers dominance did not start with both playing with the Bushrod Bulls.
If one can record, their exploit started back in high school. Both brothers attended St Edward Catholic School in Logan Town. During their time at the school, they won numerous awards and championships.
Younger brother Fedolph is still at St Edwards, although his older brother Carlos is not with him, he is single handedly carrying the school on his shoulders.
Liberiabasketball.net had already predicted the winner but not the fashion in which it would had been done. The one two combo from the brothers. Finding each other on the floor was a beauty that drew admiration from many in the crowd.
“Logan Town will be empty today,” said Mr. Samson Bernard, President of Bushrod Bulls.
He was referencing the huge turnout of Bulls fans to the arena. Largest turnout of their fans since the start of the season.
Fedolph Marshall contributed 17PTS, 8REB and 2AST. His brother Carlos Marshall also showed dominance with a stat line of 15PTS, 17REB and 6AST.
This is the best outing by both brothers statistically this season.
Invincible Eleven came to play. John Reed Jr came true to his word that he would be the facilitator for the team. The first few minutes showed such promised as he drove to the rim, kicking out. But none yielded an assists cause the Bulls defense were closing out the shooters.
If John Reed Jr is the key to turn IE fortune around, they might have to start thinking of another options cause it doesn’t seem remotely so.
Back to the drawing board it seems, not only for IE but all other D1 teams.
These Bulls are raging!!!
From the look of things and how the Bulls are playing, all other teams might just concede and look in coming second this season.
Bushrod Bulls has beaten three traditional teams this season with over 20 points margins, Mighty Barrolle, NPA Pythons and now Invincible Eleven.
Not all players yet ready to roll over.
“I believe my team will get it done and beat these boys,” Sam Paye, Forward for NPA Pythons told Liberiabasketball.net after the game.
Do you think he is right, that the Bulls are stoppable this season. Lets hear from you in the comment session.
