Anthony Quadri, the small forward for Visioneers is on the verge of been the first player in all divisions this season to accumulate 200PTS.

Anthony joined the Visioneers team last season but was the ninth man on their rotation. His patience is paying off currently.

“We always knew there is something special about him knowing his time will come,” Coach Claudius of Visioneers remarked.

Anthony is playing in his best form so far leading his team to a 6-4 start.

From statistics in the hands of Liberiabasketball.net, Anthony currently has a total of 187 points scored from 10 games played. He is currently averaging 18.7PPG

With a game in hand today, he will need a mere 13PTS to hit the 200PTS milestone.

In a telephone interview with Anthony he had this to say:

I am first thankful to God for the opportunity despite not been 100% but can still help my team. I also want to say a big thanks to my coaches as well. The preseason prep really is paying off.

The ‘Road to 200PTS’ is heavily contested.

Mohamed Traore of Cestos Mogars has 177PTS from seven matches, closely follow by Henry Boutlin of Highway Kings with 162PTS from 10 games.

Others are Thomas Katiah, Royal Legends, 145PTS(11) and Darlington Jallah, 136PTS(11) to round up the top five.

15 years old Justin Matthews is the youngest sitting at the 11th place with 116PTS(10).

Of the top five, four are from Division Two. There are currently only two division one players in the top ten accumulated scores.

From Monday, Liberiabasetball.net will start to roll out leaders in all the various categories and divisions.

Stay tuned!!!!
