Bachir Bella DIALLO is a well known name in the basketball circle of Libera. The 28 years old, 6’6″ is the reigning MVP in the Liberia Basketball Association. He won the title with Mighty Barrolle last season.
Bachir is absent from the 2022 season as he has to represent his country (Guinea) club team in this year’s Basketball Africa League, BAL. He currently plays for S.L.A.C (GUI).
The Basketball Africa League is Africa’s premier men’s basketball league. The league consists of twelve teams, each qualified through their domestic competition, similar to the format of the UEFA Champions League.
S.L.A.C (GUI) is expected to take on the defending champion Zamalek of Egypt on May 22 in the BAL Play-offs.
Word has it that Baschir is expected to return to Mighty Barrolle at the end of BAL.
Barrolle currently has three imports. Two from Nigeria and one from Guinea. The LBA rule states that each team is allowed five imports but only three can dress at a time.
