Bushrod Bulls’ Carlos Marshall had a double double in their win. He scored 12 PTS and pulled down 10 REB. This was a much needed performance for him at this stage in the season. He has shown up for this Bulls team all season long.

Mighty Barrolle held the lead for most of the game. At one point they were up as much as 14 PTS in the third quarter. It seems business as usual as was in game one, maybe a bit easier. But that lead did not last long in the third, as the Bulls went on a 10-0 run. They had switched from a full court zone press to a full court man defense.

Mighty Barrolle managed to score only nine points in the third quarter while the Bulls scored 19 PTS.

The fourth quarter started slow for both teams, not scoring a single point for the first three mins. But the woes of the Rollers was really their turn over. They had eight turnovers in the final quarter, a total of 21 compared to the Bulls 17.

A deep three from Carlos Marshall with three minutes on the clock took the Bulls up ahead by a single digit. It brought MVP chants from the numerous Bulls fans in attendance.

Will Collingwood and Richlue Roberts were the other two Bulls players in double figure. They scored 11 and 10 points respectively.

Julius Kpakolo and Anec Ejeh were the only Barrolle players in double digit. They had 12 and 10 PTS. But the surprise of the season is Brian Nyangbe. The highest signed player for this season is a shell of himself. In Game One of this finals series, he scores one point. Last night he only scored 3 PTS. with four turnovers.

Whatever is going on with the combo guard can only be solved by himself. Is it that he no longer has interest in playing for Mighty Barrolle. Unconfirmed reports have it that in preparation for the final, he made a trip to Ivory Coast to justify for a top club team.

Game three is on Friday, Sept 23 at 6:00PM

Who will take the lead come Friday, comment and let us know.
