Mohamed Traore is making his case for this year’s MVP title race. He is putting up numbers game after game.

Last night, his 39pts against Desert Knights was another memorable one for the sparse fan in attendance. He capped his performance with a breakaway dunk that left those in attendance surprised.

It is rare to see guards of his size bringing it down on fastbreaks.

Desert Knights did their best knowing very well that they will have to protect their paint. They began the game playing a sagging 2-3 defense.

The team was constantly reminded by their coach, Varfley Corneh to keep it tight. It worked just for a little while from dribble penetration before the Cestors Boys started shooting long shots drawing out their offense.

Desert Knights had a brief run from Ambrose Gawolo and Monger A with the later scoring back to back threes which brought them within ten points deficit, but the inside presence of Akimou Sow kept them at a distance.

Cestors Mogars from last night showing shows that they are to look out for in this phase. Their mission is clear, to get into the play-off.

Do you buy or sell that they can make it to the top four. Let us now in the comment.
