Patrick Monxhnedel formerly of Mighty Barrolle and Abraham Petros formerly of NPA Pythons will both be in action today against their former clubs.
Patrick won last season championship but was let go this season and given clearance after Mighty Barrolle lost to Bushrod Bulls.
“We need to make some adjustment to the team,” Ignitius Moore, coach of Barrolle said.
Abraham had played his last three seasons with the NPA Pythons.
“I have given my best to the team. I love you guys but I think it is time to play elsewhere. Thank you.” Abraham said in an emotional farewell statement to his former teammates.
Abraham, aka Shadow has only played two games for his new side. He is averaging 11.0pts in his two games. He has also scored a total of 22pts. His steal in their last game against LPRC Oilers won admiration from his front office.
Patrick, known in most circle as ‘Blacc Pat’ is rewriting his basketball with Pythons.
“I am still finding a defining role on my new team, but truth be told I feel more at home here and glad about that,” Patrick told Liberiabasketball.net
Patrick is averaging 4PPG and has scored a total of 29pts in six outing. His role has been primarily on defense and playing key roles in their system.
We will be watching closely how these two go at their former teams. One person who will want to make a stronger one is Patrick. He will want to send a message across that dropping him was a mistake.
