Shaun Eastman is on another playing level with the Invincible Eleven squad. It clearly looks he has filled the void which the team needed badly.
A natural scorer.
Shaun brings in a ton of experience. One would say, he is currently at his peak and is maintaining the trajectory. Once a member of Harbel Pointers, he took that team to the African Club Championship.
Shaun also last year came a division below to help power re-resurrected Raiders to a championship. Unfortunately, although the team qualified to the Division One, they didn’t compete this season.
I.E. who was yet to pick a victory this season had their eyes set on dominating from early in the game.
In what looked like a seesaw battle soon became one sided as Cestos Mogars started to trail with no looking back by the ‘Yellow Boys.’
It’s the fashion in which they played. I.E. had a total of seventeen assists. It shows clearly they were sharing the ball and looking for quick baskets in transition. Shaun contributed 4AST while his team mate Willie Brown had team high five assists with 12PTS on the score sheet.
Shaun known for his trademark three, was two for five from behind the arc. He is currently shooting 38.5% from that distance for the season.
It was a difficult day at the office for Mohamed Traoré. The Guinean import had bodies thrown at him the whole game.
The Guinean managed to score 14PTS but had a woeful shooting night going 3-14 from inside the arc while making only one of five attempts from three-points land.
Numerous defenders were tasked at slowing him down or getting in his head.
John Reed Jr was successful in getting into his head when Mohamed was issued a tech from the official who saw him pushed John Reed Jr to the floor after the later trashed talked him on a play.
With the victory, I.E. is all set to meet up with table leaders Bushrod Bulls on Sunday in what many hope will be entertaining and exciting.
